Brief explanation of the permissions requested by the Todo.txt for Android app
FULL ACCESS – Google Drive / Dropbox
Requires full access to your Google Drive / Dropbox account so that you can freely choose your todo.txt file’s location (and so that other apps can access it as well).
STORAGE – Photos / Media / Files
This permission is used to access local file storage. It is only requested when local file syncing is used. It is not used for Dropbox / Google Drive / No sync logins.
FULL NETWORK ACCESS
To sync tasks file with Dropbox and Google Drive.
VIEW NETWORK CONNECTIONS
To determine whether network connection is available before attempting syncing.
RUN AT STARTUP
Used for scheduling regular syncing. Only used if automatic background sync is enabled in settings.
PREVENT PHONE FROM SLEEPING
Used for showing notifications, and notification actions. Only used on pre-Oreo (Android 8.1) devices.
