Pastel new tab – Serif & Sans-serif fonts

Choose from a serif and a sans-serif font for the clock and the top websites.

Font selection may be changed by clicking the font selection icon (fifth from start) at the bottom of any new tab.

The sans-serif font used depends on the operating system – San Francisco on latest macOS, Segoe UI on latest Windows, Ubuntu or Cantarell on some Linux flavours, and Roboto on Chrome OS.

The serif font used is Noto Serif SC.

Pastel new tab – now with your top websites

Pastel new tab, with clock and top websites
Pastel new tab, with clock and top websites

Your most often visited websites can now be added to the pastel new tab page. Just like in the default new tab page, but cleaner.

The websites are visible in simple, discreet boxes at the bottom of the screen. The websites can be toggled off, or on, easily from controls at bottom of the screen.

Please note that the website links are disabled by default. The first time you enabled them, Chrome will request you to grant the extension permission to access your top websites.

Without this permission, the extension cannot display these links. However, rest of the new tab page works just like earlier even without this permission.
