Instaread is now also available by right-clicking on the extension button in the toolbar.
Use Instaread when you want to read a page immediately, but in the clean, clutter-free interface of Instapaper. AcceleReader will save the page to your Instapaper account, and open the saved page in Instapaper in a new tab.
This update has a lot of code changes behind the scene. Most of it is related to performance improvements, error handling, and some bug fixes. I have tested the update, but there is still a chance things might break.
Some of the bug fixes:

AcceleReader
used Google Analytics to track which settings and functions were being used – to help focus developer attention on what was being used.
I have now completely removed all analytics tracking from the extension. The only network requests the extension now makes are to the Instapaper servers. Other than that, the extension does not use any network requests, ensuring any user data stays on the computer.
This also means that I shall have no insight into features that are popular, or broken. So, please share your views using the feedback link in the extension (or by going here).

The article search in Accelereader popup now lists matching articles in all1 your folders, and not just the Home folder.
The extension still shows top 20 articles from your home folder by default. However, when searching for something, it looks through all your folders, and lists matching articles by recency.
When searching across all folders, the name of folder is displayed under the article’s title, after the website name.
When an article is removed from the list on Instapaper.com (archived / moved / deleted), the focus automatically moves to next article in the list.
Fixed some other bugs, and minor background improvements.

Having a lot of unread articles in your Home folder can present a strong mental hurdle against reading any, or even opening the app.
The new ‘expire old posts‘ feature helps by automatically moving old articles out of sight – helping reduce the stress of encountering too many unread articles when you open Instapaper.
When using Instapaper on Chrome, the articles in expired folder do not count towards unread articles count. Nor is the count of unread articles in this folder displayed.
You may use the settings on options page to manage days before articles are expired.
(Default is 90 days – approx 3 months)
When moving an article to another folder on Instapaper.com, selecting a folder using keyboard (up
/down
keys) will also scroll the selected folder into view.
